About the owner - Josh Collins
Josh brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry and serves as the Owner and Chief Designer of Adapt Design. His background is uniquely diverse, with a degree in Engineering complemented by Red Seal Journeyman Carpentry certification, Certified Energy Advisor designation, and Building Official certification. This combination of technical knowledge and practical expertise forms the foundation of his approach to residential design.
With a deep understanding of building codes, municipal bylaws, and approval processes, Josh is able to guide projects smoothly from concept through to construction. His well-rounded experience in both design and building allows him to see the bigger picture while focusing on the details that matter. Clients benefit from his ability to translate ideas into buildable, efficient, and thoughtfully designed spaces that align with their vision.
